Yes. Every class is taught live by the instructor, never pre-recorded.
You follow along on your own machine and ask your questions during the session.
Before you pay, you complete a short onboarding assessment. It asks about your background and includes a few practical questions about the subject, and it takes a few minutes.
The assessment places you in the Foundation or Standard class. If the result needs review, you can still complete payment while the Academy confirms your class assignment.
SQL Server Performance Tuning works differently. It is an advanced course, so instead of a placement it has a short eligibility check, and it is not open to complete beginners.
Each class runs on set weekday evenings. The exact days are published with the class, so you can check them against your week before you enroll.
Every class publishes its start time, and your account also shows it converted to your own time zone.
Every class is 90 minutes long.
